Hello! I’m Katie, girl mum, and founder of The Dinner Queen. I’m so happy you’re here.
Healthy food and families have always been incredibly close to my heart. They ignite a genuine passion within me. It’s funny how life can surprise us with unexpected opportunities. During my time as a full-time student studying Midwifery, I stumbled upon the chance to start my own healthy meal delivery business. It wasn’t planned, but looking back, it was a fortunate accident that allowed me to combine my passions in a meaningful way. And then…
Fast forward five years, there I was, standing in front of the fridge one night with my two kids by my side, telling my husband, “I just wish someone would give me 5 easy recipes and a shopping list.” In that very moment, something clicked inside me. I made it my mission to solve this problem for every parent standing in the same boat that night.
It took hard work and a lot of learning, but eventually, I opened The Dinner Queen doors to so many families facing the same challenges I had. Each week for 12 months I provided them with a weeks worth of easy, nutritious recipes and a full shopping list. It was overwhelming, but the feedback was incredible which fueled my determination to do even more. I wanted to create the ultimate solution to the most common dinner time issues families face.
